A Story About me

It's often difficult to find the ideal stamp for a project you're working on, let alone the right size. It's also easy to get sick of looking at the same limited stamp designs over and over. I have the solution: You suggest the design, I make the stamp.

My name is Cath and I'm an ADDICT!

I've been a stamping addict for about 10 years, taught to me by my good friend "the Pom" (Jill).

More recently, I've become a scrapbook addict too. I just can't help myself. I came into 'scrapping' accidentally, as my local scrapbook shop owner, Jacqui, nagged me for some time to give it a bash. I kept telling her "NO" as I knew what I was like with my stamps and papers. Totally Addicted.

But after a bit of boredom set in one school holidays, I thought I'd have a play around with my supplies at home and incorporated stamps into the scrapbook pages and voila... I was hooked. Needless to say I was straight around to Jacqui's shop and then able to be found there frequently.

Whilst at the shop in early 2006, a gentleman came in asking about scrapbooking, as he manufactured a machine that made stamps. He explained to us that he gets his pictures from a clipart website and makes a stamp of that image. My brain went, WOW, wouldn't it be fantastic to start a little Web business from home making and selling stamps. So, from me voicing my idea out loud, a few weeks later we had the first version of my website up and the StampSearch network happening.

As a result we are now free to pick and choose our own designs and make them into stamps at sizes we want. Designs can include clipart images, words & fonts, pictures, photos,illustrations, drawings, your own imaginations in the form of scanned image concept ideas, signatures, business details etc. I also work with a talented graphic artist who supplies custom graphic services upon special request.
