FAQs

Q: What are 'custom made stamps'?
A: Custom made stamps are stamps that are made to the size, font, layout, image, etc, that YOU choose.

Q: How long will it take for my stamp to be made?
A: Once you have approved the final image and the stamp is paid for, it will then be made. The usual turn around time is normally within a week, depending on my workload.

Q: Why do I have to pay prior to the stamp being made?
A: All the stamps that I make are "once off" stamps. Therefore I require the payment up front so I know that you are a genuine customer.

Q: What if the stamp is faulty?
A: With the stamps that I make, they are all stamped and proofed by me prior to me sending it to you. This way, if I am satisfied with stamped image, then you will be too! If I am not satisfied, I re-make the stamp until I am happy with it. The "proofed image" will be inserted in the packaging the stamp comes in.

Q: Why doesn't the back peel off the stamp you have made me?
A: I make the stamps using Instaplate Polymer Satchets. The back of the polymer stamp is there to add do it's strenght and durability.

Q: With the backing on the stamp, how do I get it to stay on the acrylic block when I am stamping?
A: INSTAGRIP is recommended for use with the Instastamp Polymer stamps. To read more about INSTAGRIP, click here. You can also use your usual other adhesives such as On-Off Glue or Ezimount.

Q: How should I store my stamps?
A: These stamps should be stored away from direct sunlight as they will change colour. However, they will still be usable. I have my stamps stored in plastic sleeves, such as the trading cards storage sleeves which is kept in a ring binder. I sell 2 sizes, which maybe found here.
